This website is operated by YourIHOP Group, the independent franchisee behind the Applebee's® and IHOP® restaurants listed on our Locations & Menus page. We want every guest to be able to use this site — including guests who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We build and test this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the widely recognized standard for web accessibility. Among other things, that means:
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone — no mouse needed — including a "Skip to main content" link on the first press of the Tab key.
- Images have text descriptions for screen readers, and forms have properly labeled fields.
- Text and background colors meet the required contrast levels for readers with low vision.
- Pop-ups can be closed with the Escape key, and moving content respects your device's "reduce motion" setting.
- The site works when text is zoomed or enlarged, and on screen readers on both desktop and mobile.
We re-check the site against these guidelines whenever we make significant changes.
Where this policy ends
Menu, online-ordering, and catering links on this site take you to ihop.com, applebees.com, ezCater, and Google Maps. Those sites are run by their own companies under their own accessibility policies, and we can't change how they work. If you have trouble placing an order on one of them, call your restaurant directly — every location's phone number is here — and the team will take your order or help you over the phone.
In our restaurants
Our restaurants are wheelchair accessible, and our teams are glad to help — reading the menu aloud, helping with seating, or accommodating a service animal (always welcome). If you need an accommodation for your visit, call ahead and we'll be ready for you.
Something not working for you?
If any part of this website is hard to use with your assistive technology, please tell us — we genuinely want to fix it. Email matt@yourihop.com or use our Contact page, and let us know what page you were on and what went wrong. We'll do our best to fix the issue promptly, and in the meantime we'll help you get whatever you came to the site to do — feedback, catering, anything — over email or phone instead.
